Best Position

Rhododendron 'Maria Elena' prefers a sheltered position and likes the sun but not too much of it, so an area that is partially shaded is perfect.

Maintenance

Remove any dead, diseased or damaged wood, old blooms, crossing or rubbing branches, suckers and branches that have finished blooming. Trim the remaining branches to shape the plant if desired.
