Summary

David Austin Roses 'Eglantyne': A stunning English rose variety featuring large, saucer-shaped blooms in a pale pink color. The blooms have a large number of small petals with a central button eye and a strong Old Rose fragrance. The plant has a bushy and upright growth habit, yet well-rounded, reaching a mature height of about 3.5ft (110cm) and width of 3ft (90cm). This repeat-flowering shrub rose was introduced by David Austin in 1994. It is perfect for mixed borders, container gardening, and rose borders. It thrives in full sunlight and adapts well to a variety of soil types. The variety is named after Eglantyne Jebb, founder of the Save the Children fund, from Shropshire.
