Carex oshimensis 'Irish Green' will reach full maturity in 2-5 years and requires Full Sun or Partial Shade and an exposed or sheltered position. It will produce brown flowers in Summer. Carex oshimensis 'Irish Green' is Evergreen and has foliage that is green. It requires moist, well-drained soil and can handle a soil PH of Acid, Neutral or Alkaline. There have been no reported toxic effects. The plant is reportedly affected by no diseases, and can have problems with aphids. The plant's botanical name is Carex oshimensis 'Irish Green', however it is also known as Sedge 'Irish Green'.
