Light requirements
Chamaedorea elegans is a shade tolerant plant, so it is a perfect plant for those darker locations in your house that may not get as much natural light. They are equally happy in a place that receives bright indirect sunlight though.
Watering requirements
Parlour Palm don’t like too much water. A good rule of thumb is to let the top two inches of the soil in the pot to dry out before giving it another drink.
Humidity requirements
Chamaedorea elegans can cope in a location with normal household humidity, however it will thrive in a location with higher humidity. If it is in a spot with normal humidity we recommend occasional misting to keep the foliage looking fresh.
