Summary

Good for naturalising. Snakes-head Lily. RHS Award winner. Fritillaria like partial shade and a rich soil, preferably alkaline, which does not dry-out in summer. Well suited to naturalising in borders, wild gardens, rockeries and in grass providing the soil remains moist during the growing period. Perfect colour for shady spots, usually flowering after daffodils and before tulips.
Planting Time: August Onwards.
Flowering Time : April/May.
Flowering Height : 20cm/8 inches.
