Summary
Violet blue flowers with dark tips. Iris like full sun or partial shade and an open soil with plenty of humus and good drainage. They naturalise well in rockeries, edges of borders and containers. Why not plant a Winter Corner near the house along with Anemone Blanda, Chionodoxa (Glory of the Snow) and Galanthus Nivalis (Snowdrops)
