Tradescantia are a genus of 75 species of herbaceous perennials native to the Americas. The genus is made up of both climbing and trailing species reaching up to 60cm in length. Also known as Spiderwort or Inch Plant, they are sometimes confused with succulents due to their ability to store a lot of water in their stems.
