The plant has green foliage and grows in clumps, reaching a height of about 60-90 cm. ‘Ostfriesland’ is a popular garden plant and looks great when planted in groups or as a border plant. It also pairs well with other perennials such as echinacea, rudbeckia, and penstemon. This plant prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.
