Powerful ratchet and single cut mechanism. Simply swing the lever over with one hand to switch from a powerful ratchet to a simple cut. Tests have shown Ratchet Pruners to require up to 30% less pressure than conventional pruners, as the Ratchet mechanism multiplies pressure. The loop handle serves to protect the hand and also gives greater control. The integral oil wipe allows simple lubrication of the blade. Load oil wipe from a standard oil can prior to use. Easily sharpened when necessary, use Darlac’s award winning fine grade diamond sharpener.
To open the pruner, simply squeeze the handles together and slide the catch back. P.T.F.E. coated blade for rust resistance.
FOR THICKER BRANCHES – RATCHET MECHANISM
1.Place the pruner firmly over the branch as far as possible
2.Squeeze handles together until resistance is felt
3.Allow handles to open again until one click is heard
4.Repeat steps 2 & 3 above until cut is completed
