Westland Universal Professional Lawn Seed has been formulated to grow in all soil types and with added mycorrhizal to stimulate root growth for increased nutrient uptake. Our lawn varieties are colour matched for consistent results everytime and are carefully selected to be disease tolerant to create a healthy strong lawn.
Sow seed when soil temperature is between 10-18°c. Remove any weeds or debris. New lawn – dig soil over to a depth of 15-20cm. Existing lawn (overseeding) – mow the lawn closely and remove clippings. Rake and level out. If the soil is dry water thoroughly the day before sowing. Apply seed at the correct rate. Ensure the soil stays moist for the first couple of weeks until grass has established. Mow for the first time when the grass is 5-8cm long. Do not remove more that 1/3 of the grass blade each time.
