Miscanthus sinensis ‘Dronning Ingrid’

Miscanthus sinensis ‘Dronning Ingrid’ is a Grass which is hardy down to a temperature of -15 to -20. It will grow up to a height of 1-1.5m and a spread of 0.5-1m. Miscanthus sinensis ‘Dronning Ingrid’ will reach full maturity in 2-5 years and requires Full Sun and an exposed or sheltered position. It will produce Red flowers in Late Summer to Autumn. Miscanthus sinensis ‘Dronning Ingrid’ is Deciduous and has foliage that is Green and Purple. It requires moist, well-drained soil and can handle a soil PH of Acid, Neutral or Alkaline. There have been no reported toxic effects. The plant is reportedly affected by no diseases, and is typically free of pests. The plant’s botanical name is Miscanthus sinensis ‘Dronning Ingrid’, however it is also known as Eulalia ‘Dronning Ingrid’.
