Zamioculcas is a genus of plant with just a single species, Zamioculcas zamiifolia. Native to East Africa, the standout characteristic of this plant also known as the ZZ Plant, is the distinct glossy foliage. One of the easiest plants to look after due to its tolerance to drought it is important to make sure you don’t overwater this plant. It has been shown to remove certain toxic compounds from the air however it is also known to be toxic when consumed by pets or people.
