Description
Thymus pseudolanuginosus, commonly known as woolly thyme, is a low-growing, evergreen perennial herb that forms a dense mat of fuzzy, silvery-green leaves. It produces tiny pink to lavender flowers in early summer that attract pollinators. This thyme is often grown as a groundcover in rock gardens, between stepping stones, or as a border edging plant. It prefers well-drained soil and full sun, and is drought-tolerant once established. The leaves have a pleasant, earthy scent when brushed or crushed, and can be used for culinary purposes.
