Description
Fatsia japonica, also known as Japanese aralia, is a striking evergreen shrub. Its large, glossy, leathery leaves provide an exotic tropical feel, with each leaf measuring up to 30cm across. In autumn, small, creamy-white flowers appear in clusters that later turn into black berries. This shrub is easy to care for and is relatively tolerant of most conditions, including partial shade and urban pollution. Fatsia japonica is an excellent addition to any garden, particularly in mixed borders, coastal gardens or as a specimen plant. It pairs well with ferns, hostas, and other shade-loving plants.
