Viburnum x bodnantense is a hybrid between V. farreri and V. grandiflorum first made at Bodnant Garden in the 1930s. Known for the production of flowers through Winter and early Spring, which combined with its deciduous nature creates a memorable site with bare stems covered in lots of pink flowers.
