Asparagus setaceus is a perennial plant that hails from South Africa. Despite its name, it is not a true fern, but instead is a member of the lily family. Asparagus Ferns like to be kept in moist conditions although it is important that they have good drainage as they won’t be happy sitting in water. The best method to create these conditions is to water the plant little and often.
Humidity requirements
Asparagus setaceus likes a place with normal household humidity. If it is in a location with dry air then the occasional mist will give it a boost. It is also fine in areas with higher humidity.

Asparagus Ferns will reach a height of 1-1.5m and will reach a spread of around 0.5-1m and are fast growers.

Asparagus setaceus does not produce flowers when grown indoors.
