Rosa ‘Wildeve’: A unique English rose variety known for its distinctly quartered, large rosette blooms that are produced on long arching branches. The blooms are soft blush with a pretty apricot hue, the outer petals paling to almost white. The plant forms a bushy, mounding shrub and reaches a mature height of 4ft (125cm) and width of 5ft (150cm). It is a repeat-flowering variety that produces flowers from late spring through fall. ‘Wildeve’ is well-suited for use in mixed borders, container gardening, rose hedges, shady areas and adapts well to all soil types and full or partial sunlight. This variety was introduced by David Austin in 2003 and is named after a character in Thomas Hardy’s novel, The Return of the Native.
